These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website arborea.com (the “Site”) and related services, including AI assistant services and our expert consultation platform (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under EU law.
2. Services We Provide
a) AI Assistant Services We provide AI-powered assistance for climate tech questions, powered by real experts in the field. The AI provides answers based on verified expert knowledge with clear attribution to contributors. b) Expert Consultation Platform Our platform connects users with climate tech experts for direct consultations. Access to these services may require registration and payment.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring your account details remain confidential and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
4. Fees, Payment, and Refunds
a) AI Assistant Services Basic access to the AI assistant may be free, with premium features requiring payment. b) Expert Consultations Fees for expert consultations will be displayed at the point of booking. Refund Policy: If you are an EU consumer, you have the right to request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the consultation has not been conducted.
5. Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Services, including text, images, videos, and software, is the intellectual property of Arborea or its licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by applicable EU law.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our Services to: Engage in unlawful activities. Disrupt or interfere with the operation of the Site. Misrepresent your affiliation with Arborea. Reverse-engineer or misuse our proprietary technologies.
7. Consumer Rights
If you are an EU consumer: You have the right to clear and transparent information about our Services and pricing. You may withdraw from certain agreements within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period, as outlined in Article 16 of the Consumer Rights Directive. These rights are in addition to any other rights provided by your national laws.

We process personal data in accordance with GDPR.
9. Liability and Disclaimers
We provide our Services “as is” without warranties, except those required by EU law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in question.
